I have an employee that

I can provide the mechanical method to forward the calls, but it may not work as you expected. The reason being that IIRC you can't take 2 hops. Anyway, the initial forward, on the intercom of his phone, dial *7102 and the new extension and #. It will light the FWD/DND light and send all calls to the new phone. What happens when the new phone doesn't answer is your mission to discover :-)

I can only pick up

These systems have manuals for a reason. The unprogrammed system has no ICD group assignments. When you put the phones and the ring preferences into the groups, the phones will both blink and/or ring on incoming calls. By default ICD group 1 is 600.

Light stays on with no messages.

Actually, the light is on because there ARE messages, just not from the Voice Mail system. Press MESSAGE and look at the display. The 3rd soft key will let you CLEAR the message. When all of them are cleared, the light will go out.

What kind of extention lead

Panasonic proprietary phones need a 4 wire line cord. Most phones work with a 2 wire or 4 wire line cord because they use the center two conductors, but panasonic proprietary phones use the outside two conductors of a 4 wire line cord.

I have 3 phones set to restricted. I cannot call

Some Panasonic cordless phones come with up to five handsets each will need to be properly adjusted. You may need to set the main handset to synchronize with the base unit plugged into the telephone wall jack and assign special configuration numbers to the other handsets in order to properly identify each one within a specified location. One handset left in the turned on mode may make it impossible to place calls with the any of the other handsets. This will continue until either the battery dies or fails on the handset or the phone is switched off and replaced in its charger for charging again. Synchronize the main handset by pressing the MENU button on the handset, then pressing the down button IN order to select the number you wish to assign to that handset. Repeating this process if you have already done so will greatly decrease the level of errors experienced with panasonic phones MORE USEFUL INFORMATION FOR ALL YOUR ELECTRONICS When troubleshooting these units, there are always several variables to consider. First check to see what last occurred with the unit such as did the children play video games, did the electricity go out due to bad weather. You may see that there are many possibilities but let's focus on what occurred last to the unit. Once we determine what happened last, we may isolate the actual cause of the problem. The actual cause may be associated with projection issues, older versions (Picture tube), interference from devices located nearby, and even a radio turned on and located really close to your unit. This is normally known as electromagnetic interference to electronics and is very common with the error you have provided today. Please continue to look for anything EXTERNAL to the unit before looking at the internal components. I have been working on these a long time so feel free to follow up with me.

How do I get the Panasonic KX-T7633 to show

You need to have Caller ID enabled by your telephone provider. Most providers charge a fee for the service. (In my area, it is $4.50 to display just the incoming number, $6 for names and numbers or you can get it in a bundle with other services for ~$10. Your prices may vary.)

The incoming calls will be listed in the call log once the service is active. You can clear this information when you are confirming the log information after navigating to the desired item by pressing Clear. You use the left/right arrows to find desired log/directory and then the up/down arrows to select a log.

I hope this helps.

I need to know how

the general mailbox can be any mailbox from 100-998... or if you have 4 digit extension numbers, 1000-9998...or it can be one of a couple hundred other greetings if you are talking about custom service menus instead of a mailbox (all this is best determined by your local panasonic dealer/serviceman)

once you know which mailbox is your general mailbox:
1) call the voicemail
2) press "#6*" + the mailbox number
3) enter password then "#"
4) press options "3" then "1" then "1"
5) record your greeting then press "1" to stop the recording then "2" to save it
6) hang up

Caller id does not show up

most likely:
a) you do not have the caller ID card installed in your system
or b) when your phone is ringing on an outside call, press the "INFO" button (second from the left under the screen) and it will scroll down to the phone number (because the phone tries to show you 4 lines of text but it only has a 3 line display)

I want telephone number to

Well, you need about 3 things for that to happen. Hardware, programming, and a ringing phone. If others in your system have CID or you see CID when you're talking on the phone line, then it's probably just ringing. If nobody gets CID, then did you buy the CID card (part number ending in 93)? Once you get the card, you still have to tell the system that you're using CID.

How do I set a temporary holiday company greeting?

Most of my customers called their dealer :-)

You need access to the voice mail system and a Holiday custom message or company greeting. After that, it's fairly easy to tell the system when the Holiday message should be played.

I need to set up

One doesn't affect the other. If it's a Pana brand external VM (TVx) system, then you access the VM from anywhere and use either #6* your extension, or #6*998, depending on what
greeting you're changing.

As far as the display not working, you must have a defective phone or circuit board in the system...you did swap it with a working phone?

How to use the paging

So what happens when you dial *3301 on the intercom? It's not magic, but each phone by default is in page group 1. The external pager has to be assigned to it, so if it does not work, it's time to call your dealer/installer/engineer.
