If it's a Panasonic TVx voice mail system, your system owner can change the password from Mailbox 999. It's something like option 4 then 3 which resets password in mailbox ***.

Hello, I am a Panasonic delaer in Adelaide and I

The seller may have bought them a year ago without realizing they were refurbs, as there are companies that sell refurbs without the proper warnings. So, the seller may be telling the truth about how old they are, at least to him. Then again, they may have sat in a warehouse for years, waiting to be sold, though the 2009 cards seem to fly in the face of that..

If you take a look at
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=s&hl=en&q=KX-T7633&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=7224097696988403744&sa=X&ei=rGwSTub9LpDAtgf0u_TkDQ&ved=0CFYQ8wIwAA

You'll see there are a couple new, and several refurbs, so just about anything is possible.

I have a desktop Panasonic corded phone model

There are a lot of conditions, but first you have to have an analog port to back up the digital. In a TDA 30/50 it means one of the first 4 extensons in the system which have the Digital Super Hybrid ports. It's something that the dealer or someone with the dealer password and maintenance tool will have to set up. Once it's done, the mated extension can either stand alone, or be merged with the digital phone.

This is an answer to the question you asked, how to update YOUR phone greeting. Either rate this as a FixYA (4 starts) or don't rate it at all if you're asking a different question.

When you dial into your voice mail from your phone, if you use 500, you're in your VM greeting and the lady says "enter password" or "you have xxx" messages. Option 31 and 1,2 or 3 for greetings. Note: If it says something about "temporary greeting" then select option 5 instead of 31 to change or delete the temp greeting. The other VM access code we use is 165 instead of 500. It's a left over number from the TD series systems.

If you have ESVM, where you can go off-hook and dial *383 to retrieve your messages, You access the recordings by dialing *382. If it starts to play back, then you need to consult your OM (Operating manual) or listen to the prompts to change your greetings for day and night.

I want to kow how

What happens when you dial *3301 or *3332 on the intercom? At installation, phones are assigned paging groups, and they usually fall into group 1 by default. There are codes that can lock phones out of paging (each user can do it himself) and 32 is all page groups. Anybody can dial *43 on the intercom to join a paged call.

On monday morning, the staff

Somewhere on your system, you have an off hook situation causing the busy signal, in my opinion. You have no doubt checked all of the telephones for this condition. Have you also 'cleared' all lines of possible "hold" calls? Have you unplugged all phones relying on one to "test" the line(s)?

I suggest you disconnect your system at the telephone company 'demark' or 'netwqork interface'. Take one good telephone to the place where your system plugs into the telephone company (or who ever provides your service) and plug in that phone. If you get a dial done at the DeMark or network interface, there is a problem in your building. It is your responsibility to resolve 'inside' troubles. If there is no dial tone at that DeMark (old term used for DeMarkation - the place the telephone company responsibility ends and your responsibility starts) or network interface (a newer term for the same thing), call your service provider and have them make the repairs to their line.

So what do you do inside if there is a dial tone at the DeMark? As I said, unplug all phones. Plug them back in one at a time to see if you have dial tone. If no dial tone, unplug and do the next one. Make sure all batteries and all power supplies to the phone (if any) are good and/or plugged in.

If there is dial tone outside, all batteries and power supplies inside are good, all phones are clear (no hold or conference call buttons pressed) and there is still no dial tone inside, call your inside repair guy. If the phone worked at the DeMark and it will not work inside, there is a system error somewhere.

Thanks for allowing me the chance to try to help you this morning. ... Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

Hi im trying to find

Here's a thought: http://public.carl.airpost.net/panasonic/TDA/200_TDA_OM_06-121.pdf among the 5 or 6 Panasonic manuals available for a TDA system is the Operation Manual (OM). Beginning page 30 is the Alphabetal description of all the features with the codes. Codes are summarized at the end.

Please don't forget to rate this answer. The link will only be up for a short time after you retrieve it.

Employee has left dont Know

The only "pins" you need to know is the pin for mailbox 999 and/or 998. From 999 you can reset or erase the password to every other mailbox. 998 is where you record the greetings. That assumes a Pana TVA voicemail system.

Hi, I have a panasonic kx-t7633. we can dial all

It's not magic. You need to program several things that require installer access. In your features manual, look up COS and TRS (Class of Service and Toll Restriction). It's probably already in your system and you need to modify the programming to make it work. Another feature called ARS would possibly be in order, then, you dial 9 and the number and the programming would sort it out.

Needless to say, it's beyond the scope of a free forum to do specific programming on your system.

I am trying to change

Find the custom service menu that's playing after the greeting and change it. There are 32 company greetings and any number of custom service greetings. In a TVA system they start auto numbering with 1 so you should be able to find it in the first 5 or so custom greeting messages.

If a call comes in

There are 2 possibilities. One, does line 1 appear on your phone? Press PROG and line 1's button. It should say Single Line-001. If it doesn't dial 0 001 and press STORE. The other possibility is that if someone answers a call and puts it on hold, the line will blink green at their station once every second (60 blinks per minute). However....if they press hold TWICE it will double blink. The HOLD can be pressed immediately or even after a short delay :-) You can test the second case by calling into your first line and watching what your phone does. If it starts to blink red slowly and then goes solid red, someone has double pressed the button.

I have the Panasonic KX-T7633

The phone works on the outer pins of a 4 conductor base cord. Check the cord to make sure it has 4 pins and then move it to a location that works. Also, make sure you're plugged into the right hole on the base of the phone...there are 2.
