bosch smu -4052 will not fill with water

This error message is normally an indication that there has been an overspill of water in to the base and triggered the antiflood mechanism.Try tilting the dishwasher back to allow excess water to run out and then retry the wash cycle. If it still gives the E15 code then there is a leak on the system.

There is no internal fuse (at least I've not seen or replaced any) on Bosch dishwashers. The most typical problems for Bosch are: 1) one of the power cord connections to the internal wiring is corroded and doesn't make a contact; or 2) the power button has failed.The number one is so far the most common problem. To check: Turn off the power to the dishwasher by any means necessary. Remove the kick panel on the bottom. There should be a small metal box with power cord and 2 or 3 wires coming into it. Remove screw(s) holding the cover on that box. There should be 2 or 3 wires connected to the power cord wires by wire nuts. Any burnt insulation or wire nut will be the problem area. Cut burnt wires, remove 1/2" of insulation and clean of both connecting wires to bare copper. If you have an electrical contact grease - apply to copper. there is a p - trap sort of, your drain hose is meant to work as one, when properly installed the hose will have a hole drilled for it to come ththat is slightly higher than the drain of the sink

check with a level. from front to backon each top side and accross the top of dish washer.

With the guide you can practically tear that dishwasher completely apart if you`re even a little mechanically inclined, it`s pretty good.
