Aspire 47102 will not boot up
Usually this is to set the computer to it's factory default, as if it was brand new. I recommend that you keep with the recovery. Another way to recover is to press the f8 key while booting, this will take you to the safe mode, if it let you, and from safe mode choose the recovery option. Just follow the instruction in recovery mode.
Acer aspire 4520 won't boot
Try this.
Unplug both AC ADAPTER and remove battery.
Press and hold POWER BUTTON for 30 seconds.
Plug in AC ADAPTER.
Turn on.
After log in, place battery in.
WLAN Chip internal
Try connecting the white to the Main and the Brown to the Aux.Then test the Wireless connection.If it doesn't work then swap them around. and test again.
Touch pad in my acer
You may not have secured the cable into the connector properly, or the jack may have been broken in the process.
I sugest a re-open and examinination by a professional.
I have a Acer Aspire laptop 4810T. It turns on
Press Fn key (at bottom left of keyboard) and while holding it down, press F6 key (at top center of keyboard). This should turn on the display screen backlight which had been turned of to save power.
Dvd drive icon not showing
If your operating system is out of date, and your DVD drive has been working fine until just recently. There was a problem in the earlier versions of windows vista (that was later fixed with a patch I believe) that caused the optical drive to disappear.
If you can follow directions fairly well, this is copied from microsofts support website;

Dvd drive missing from my
Maybe it's already broken. Have a technician check it first before buying an external dvd drive or get a replacement drive.
My bluetooth device is not

I would go to device manager find the bluetooth device double click it and go into the properties
go to the driver and try to update if it wont do it uninstall it then restart your laptop and hopefully windows will load it again correctly for you if not then go to
www.acer,com type in your make model and operating system and look for a new driver and download it
