The compressor is trying to start....sorry sounds like it needs a new one....can be a expensive excise in some models.

you hit the nail on the head there,,,its the thermostat its dead!
change it they often stick in the on poshion when they stop working to save any food inside of the fridge

please make sure your elecricity supply is working i mean check that electrical swith its working . if its ok then check the refrigerator card may be its fulty .replace it and contect to your elctrical (refrigration technician) pesonnel for maintenance your refrigarator.

First completely defrost it followed by drying it out for an extended period. It should be handled in a manner whereas it is never laid on it's end or side, however,
Once these devices have been in service for an extended period, moisture occures in the inner walls of the machine unseen.
Even with your best effort, the tubing can corrode and cause the the machine to be ruined.
The best way is to keep it running, at it's warmest setting.

It is vibration of compressor. Try adjusting the balance wheels at the bottom to eliminate the sound. But some humming will still ontinues.

Yes, the compressor is not starting...these tips will help you with that...
Try change the start components....potential relay and start capacitor...if that don't work it is the compressor going bad...

No you would probably be breaking into the gas system which would render the fridge useless.

Check around the edge of the door and the machine itself and clean if nessory. You also might need some new seal tape around the door.

Hi, the only reason the unit will over freeze is if the thermostat control is faulty and the unit is running all of the time. You can turn it up or down to see if it responds and shuts off. If it continues to freeze, replace it. If you can get it to shut off, open the door and watch it to see how long it takes to come back on. It shouldn't take to long to respond to the warmer ambient temperature. If it does cycle on and off, I would replace it as it could not be accurate. Keep me posted.

Chcek to see if the thermostat bulb is inside the freezer section. Turn the t'stat to 1 instead of 3. If it still freezes then you have a bad t'stat. Take it back to the store it you have a receipt. If you can't then sorry you are out of luck. Haier is cheap and made in Korea. No parts are available anywhere here!!! Stay away from Haier or get a warranty!!!

Thermostat or compressor... Check the thermostat by seeing if you are getting power to the compressor. If so then the compressor is bad. Is the compressor getting hot to the touch and not running? Becareful it may be VERY hot!! Then you are getting power to it...
Replacing a compressor in one of these units may cost more then a new one. Becareful before investing money in it.

the clicking niose is the compressor relay . and needs to be replaced . this may not get the comp going as it may be stuck or motor windings burnt . . then replacement of compressor in needed . mm /hope this hepled .

If it still freezes then it should not be dangerous. It will add a lot to the cost of operation. You can fill the hole with insulation, that will help a lot. There is various types in aerosol cans that will work quite well.

its your temp censor and should be clipped back into its holders just under or inside the ice box be cearfull not to brake it as if you do you would then to fit a hole new censor, and thats not cheep,
