I have a paloma tankleswater heater im getting
Basically this error means the input gas (Natural Gas) is restricted...line is too small, gas valve not opened all the way, ect. If the unit was working properly prior to this error code, you'll have to take the burner
control assembly apart and perform some detailed...spring cleaning.
I have the procedure in
PDF format...but unfortunately I don't have it with me at this time. Easiest thing at this point would be to
call Rheem/Paloma Customer Support at (800-432-8373); advise them of the error code and they will send you the procedure in an easy to follow, step-by-step format. It's a fairly easy proccess, but takes about 3 hours to complete.
If you're dealing with the propane model...be sure the tank has been properly serviced.

State Powervent 80 Gal. Waterheater
Hello. Remove the panels that cover the pilot light and the thermocouple. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust or soot as this is most likely what is causing your problem. If after you clean it all up, you still have the problem the next thing to do is to change the thermocouple. Remove the one you have and take it to the hardware store so they can match it up for you.
C7 13
its a code for the oxygen sensor, first step would be to ohm it out see if it is working right, then i would go after make up air in the room, cleaning it will only help if the sensor is clogged

call tech support they will help you with this specific code
No hot water
your gas lines are probably too small or you may have a venting issue
I have a Rheem Classic Series Super Quiet 80 gas
Sounds like it could be a dirty or bad flame sensor.
When the burner lights ,there is a flame sensor in the flame and it is suppose to sense the flame and send a signal back to the control board which will keep the gas valve open, if it gets dirty or is bad it doesn't send the signal back to the board and the board will shut the gas valve off and after three tries it will lock out the furnace and you have to reset it to get it to work again.
The flame sensor looks like a wire and it's in the flame usually it will get gas deposits on it, then it won't work.
You can clean this sensor with an extra fine piece of steel wool, but before you attempt to do this DISCONNECT ALL POWER TO THE FURNACE.
-0 82 error code PTG-74PVN Rheem tankless
I had the same problem, but when you change the PCB the chip has to be reset regardles of the elevation so it can communicate properly. The rest is easy, Find the DIP Switch located on the top left side of the PCB set switch #1 & #2 to the ON position push and hold the adjustment buttom till the display changes from flashing to illuminating the reset the DIP switch #1 & #2 to the OFF position and you are ready to go.
Heater trips
If your heater trips, it means only one thing. And that is for a defective heater. It must be checked and have
it repaired or replaced. Since it is a gas heater, this must be a-s-a-p, it could explode and cause fire due to this defect. You can do it, or you can call the
technician for this product, since test instruments are needed for your Rheem Paloma natural gas indoor heater.
What is error code 76 and can it be
hi there are a number of 76 codes on your machine but in any event contact rheem on 8004348373 because they have extened the warrenty on all 76 codes its your burner control i hope this has been helpfull if so give it a rating thanks pete
Trouble c8-76 and c4-76 after about 5 min shower
How old is your unit...if less than 5 years old tell Polam/Rheem
customer support you are recieving a code 76 error - this is a loss of
communication between the remote and the burner control assembly (circuit board). Part will be covered under MF defect warranty. However, the part is covered....the labor to install is not.
If you are slightly technical you can install the part yourself...customer
support will walk you through the process and they give you a step-by-step procedure to follow
