Restarts unexpectedly
You could try booting from a Live CD, one which ignores the hard drive. If symptoms persist then it's a hardware fault, if it's stable then you have a fault in your operating system on the HD.Sometimes it's a faulty memory module or perhaps CPU overheating. In these cases you usually get a blue screen before the reboot. Memory can easily be removed or exchanged. An overheating CPU happens when the fan is clogged up with dust or the heatsink paste has gone dry.

Check signal cable lenovo
If you are talking about your monitor not getting a signal try a different monitor from a friend (one that he or she knows works) if you don't have an extra one yourself. It could also be the VGA/HDMI cable, but not likely. It could also be a bad video card/port.

Boot order change to boot from cd on thinkcentre m57p
I beg to differ........AS SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on the F12 key. Tap in 2 second intervals. If you hear beeps ignore them. They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and it is you that is doing it.In the Startup Menu do you see CDROM listed? You cannot use your mouse anymore. You have to use the Keyboard.Use the appropriate arrow key, and highlight -> StartPress the Enter key.Now use the appropriate arrow key, and highlight -> Start SequencePress the Enter key. What does it state on the Right side? The right side, and the bottom is the Navigation guide. Does NOT state navigation guide. If you see the various boot devices listed in an order, you need to highlight the first boot device; Or,You need to highlight CDROM.Using the appropriate key to Change Value (Look at navigation guide at bottom), move CDROM to the Top of the list.Key is usually the Page Up/Page Down key; or +/- key.(Plus { + } / Minus { - } key)If you can only highlight the first boot device in the list currently, highlight it; then use the appropriate Change Value key, to move it in the list.Move it until CDROM appears at the Top of the list.(Note* You may have to highlight the first boot device, then press the Enter key; then use the Change Value key )If you can highlight CDROM, then just use the appropriate key, and move it to the Top.(You may have to highlight CDROM, then press the Enter key. Then use the Change Value key)After you have moved CDROM to the Top of the list, press the Enter key.Now select Save Settings, or Save and Exit.I'm looking at the HMM (Hardware Maintenance Manual), but it does not go into very much detail for BIOS Setup.I'll need your eyes. Tell me what you see, and what is going on; if the above is not correct.Post back in a Comment.Regards, joecoolvette
