this problem could be caused by a
number of things and all may need att
the starter button may be corroded inside
and not making contact. the starter solinoid
may be the same and the starer also may
be coroded my 750sat for 2yeaers and these
are the parts i had to repair or replace before
it would wind over. it was working fine when
i parked it im guessing your bike. doesnt
have a kick start try push start if it starts then
look at the things ive listed
if your getting good power to your lights and such then you know battery is ok if your starting and its not getting a kick when trying then its the plugs there easy to remove and clean or maybe even may be a starter problem try pushing it a bit then bump starting it may help newer bikes dont have a clutch i dont think so cant be that all the best anyhows
Check that the clutch is in, kick stand up, and neutral light ablaze. Then try your start button. When you had it running and hit the button, the starter engaged at a slower speed then the bike engine was turning, which led to the stall. The stall means your starter works. If the starter works when the engine is running then it is wiring. Check your kick stand wiring along with the clutch wires which plug in on the handlle bar or where the clutch cable enters the engine.
chec fuses-bad ones can appear normal-inspec if connecs r tite at starter n solenoid area-n also relays--starter may be bad ur bike is 10yrs-test it--that electric clutch may be malfunctionin too
Colud your room mate have accidentally put the bike in gear? There is a switch on the kickstand that will killl the engine if kickstand is down and bike is in gear.
