I have a teamguys 150 cc scooter when i drive it it has terrible hesitation from the start and hesitates a little sometimes when it hits speed and when i turn it off it backfires any ideas

Try cleaning Throttle Body and MAF first.

Going and Slowing is usually a problem with the throttle pot. They are often easy to fix yourself with a bit of WD40 once you have found out where the throttle pot is on your machine. Sometimes they have to be replaced, but fortunately the part is quite cheap. You didn't say what brand your scooter is, but Pride scooters are known for throttle pot problems.

the tps sensor may be your problem

Check the tps.

you may have a bad motor contact amigo for a service tech. in your area 1-800-my-amigo

mine did the same thing and it was oxygen sensor
since engine light came on there should be an error code
on computer.Get a diagnostic checker or take to a garage and have them hook uo to the diag connector. I bought a diagnostic checker few years ago and it has come in very handy

Check engine light? Have you checked fuel pressure?

try replacing the throttle position sensor on the throttle body

time so see your local service center

Sounds like you have a bad throttle pot. You`ll need to check the resistance on it or take it to a dealer.
