SOURCE: changing front wheel bearing

first take the wheel off
Then take the caliper off the rotor
Then take the rotor off the CV joint spindle
You will need to remove the three bolts that hold the bearing in place.
You will either need to remove the two bolts that hold the strut or
you will need a Puller.

SOURCE: I need the torque spec for the axle and the axle

Go to the autozone.com website and register there. It doesn't cost anything and you will have access to an online repair manual for the vehicle. (Kinda handy) They have a specification section, so the torque specs might be found there. Hope this helps and best wishes.

That's not the way it works. you buy a socket set. It has one set of AF Sockets and one set of Metric sockets. The one you use is the one that fits.

Need to remove the front wheel bearing hub on a 2007 dodge nitro

Remove the brake caliper and pads, You have to remove the large axle nut It has to be torqued back on. You can find that torque spec by googling axle nut torque spec for your vehicle. Disconnect the ABS wire if it has it then the bearing will have 3 bolts on the backside to remove, They should be torqued back on as well. Dont forget to use a jack stand and leave the jack up as well for extra safety

I cant get the axle nut off to take the roter off the front wheel

A large breaker bar and deep well socket is required to get the axle nut off. They are torqued down very tight-about 150 ft. lbs. Easier to loosen the nut sith the car and wheel on the ground, then you can raise the car, remove wheel, remove the nut and washer, and get to the rotor.

What are the torque specs on a 2000 honda civic front wheel hub

torqued my 96 si front axle nut to 134 ft lbs like the manual calls and i nearly lost a wheel.
i believe they gotta be much much tighter then that. When i did the headgasket the manual called for 49 ft lbs or 54 ft lbs one or the other and thats what it was torqued to and 50 kms after it got back on the road it completely blew. torqued it to 80 ft lbs after redoing the whole job havent had an issue even vtecing everwhere i go.
needless to say torque specs... dont worry about them, torque axle nuts with an impact gun and all your strength on a breaker bar and you wont have an issue.

Torque specs needed

on a 1999 Honda Accord, the torque for the front axle nut is 181 ft lbs. For the most part, sung it up and then go a bit further. If you are reusing the old axle nut, tighten it until the stake mark on the nut lines up with the notch in the axle (make sure to re-stake it). check out alldata.com/diy for individual vehicle subscriptions which have all the repair info you will ever need. If you had the steering knuckle out, tighten the balljoint nuts on the upper and lower control arms until they are tight and then tighten until the hole lines up to recieve the cotter pin.
