I have a 2003 Suzuki GSX750f Katana and the engine cuts out on me while driving on the highway after riding for 30 - 45 minutes. I have replaced the kickstand switch thinking that may be the problem, but it continues to happen. Any suggestions as to why?

not all alternators are not equal some produce more amperage recheck your amps ,try to inspect grounds on wiring harness and connections /corrosion / loose/ rodents can eat wiring

Have you checked all fuses for the cooling fans? Seems to be that the car is warming up to temp and then some, and protecting itself from overheating by shutting down the engine.

try adjusting the idle adjustment screw. it should cut out the backfiring problem. i had the same problem and it helped me !!!
