SOURCE: front wheel axle pinch bolt torque setting

tight is right. just do it up tight and re-check it after a ride or two. it'll be fine. dont go at it like an animal though, i have never torqued wheel nuts and never had any trouble. if you dont trust your judgement ask the bike shop who is fitting your new tyre and balancing the wheel

SOURCE: I need the torque settings for changing the wheels on my BMW HP2

BMW workshop DVD says Front axle M22x1,5 (greased) = 50NM Front axle pinch bolts = 8NM Brake caliper to fork bolts = 30NM Rear wheel bolts M10x53x1,25 = 60NM
Brake caliper to fork torque needed if changing to SM wheels. Method. Torque greased axle bolt to 50NM, then compress forks several times without using brakes, then tighten both LHS axle pinch bolts to 8NM, then tighten both RHS axle pinch bolts to 8NM. Then test your brakes are working. Front finished. Rear. Torque to 60NM. I torque every second bolt as I work my way around the 5 Torx screws until they have all been torqued and double checked

What is the size socket required for a 2012 Ford Fusion Axle nut? Also, what is the Torque spec to secure it back on? Working with Front-Right wheel.

The one that fits!

That's not the way it works. you buy a socket set. It has one set of AF Sockets and one set of Metric sockets. The one you use is the one that fits.
