2000 v92c Charging system only
Most likely the regulator is faulty - a shorted stator would have effectively killed the voltage.
Yes, the stator connections can be accessed from the outside without serious modifications: they are soldered directly to the cable that goes to the rectifier/regulator. Just measure them with a very good AC voltmeter - the frequency is very high.

The "park" position of the key is one click past OFF...you may simply be turning the key too far.
I need triple clamp pinch
You need 525cc's per tube, step up to a 15w as well. The factory says 10w. It doesnt provide enough damping. what do you want to know about the upper and lower pinch bolts..? size or torque specs?
My forks are locked after being tied down in a
Block the front end up and remove the front wheel, fender, and any cross-bracing mechanism between the forks. One of the forks may just pop out when everything is off. Try rotating the stuck fork with the front axle to see if it will pop out as well. It may have a slightly bent upper tube causing the binding. If that is the case, a machine, or well-equipped auto repair shop can straighten the tube in a press. Sounds like the dealer would rather sell parts/new bikes than repair anything. Hope this helps
I have a 1999 V92 that jumps out of 3rd & 4th
Early Victory Transmissions (1999-2001) had a recall issued where all transmissions were updated.
The Problem surfaced after introduction and mainly impacted 4th gear.
Victory supported this recall for years at no cost, then they paid 50-60% cost of repairs. I don't think they are still offering help, but it never hurts to ask.
You can go by any Victory Dealer with your VIN and they can pull a history of what recalls were issued for your bike and which recalls were completed.
I hope this helps..
2000 sport cruiser won't start in cold.
you wont burn the starter out unless you crank it over for minuets at a time like 10 mins! it will get hot by then but you can crank it over for at least 30 secons no problems as for the spiting its likely to be a partly blocked jet in the carb making it run a bit on the week side once it runs up it may well clear its self out, if you wip the spark plugs out and dry them off or better still fit a new set it should start up ok with a bit of cranking up spiting and poping should stop then
I am having charging issues with my V92c. last
depending how old is the battery , it could be on its way out . check one thing first ...
turn your bike on ,
turn the head light on ,
while given a bit of gas , check if the light increases in brightness .
If it does , the regulator will be ok as well as your magneto/altenator .
if it does not increases in brightness , you have to check the output from your altenator and see if the ouput is greater than after the regulator .
if the output is the same while revs are up , you have a faulty altenator .

How do I replace the
The clutch cable is not very hard to be replaced, the easiest way is to remove the tank as the cable runs along the
inside of the frame rail.
-----
The procedure is as follows :---
Remove
side covers, then remove seat(driver),then remove gas tank.
With your hand and depress clutch arm and remove cable end
and cut plastic tie at holds clutch cable to the frame.Remove clutch cable from handle bars ,remove air cleaner top and clean thottle body
reverse procredure and then adjust clutch cable end play, leave about 1/8 of an
inch travel on the clutch arm at the trans. The nut at the trans side which holds the clutch cable is sometimes bit tight to be removed. In that case spray some wd-40 on the nut and let it remain for few minutes ,then try to open the nut.-------
This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
