What size wrench do you need to remove brake caliper bolts on a 2005 mazda tribute

Jack up the car and place on stands remove wheels ,remove pin and nut ,remove the brake caliper,slide hub off ,remove old cup,s with a hammer and pin punch and fit new cups pack bearings with grease fit to hub,fit new seal.

It's either brake fluid hose or caliper itself, see if caliper piston is easy to push back in, if yes, replace the hose, if not replace the caliper,

12 mm ,14,mm wrench or socket that to remove the caliper 17 mm wrench or socket for the bolt holding the brake pad braket

You will need a 7mm allen to remove the front brake caliper.

I believe it is an allen key on your model!!
And it is a 3/8"

if you are just changing the pads there are 2 bolts that split the caliper in halve and allow you to change the pads thres two bolts are located top and bottom on the backside of the caliper and require an allen wrench for removal to remove the whole caliper there are 2 bolts on the back side closer to the center top and bottom that require a 17mm socket remove these 2 bolts clamp off the flex brake hose with a clamp and remove from caliper and work up and down until caliper comes away from disc

13-14mm or 17mmsome calipers have 2 bolts to remove

A hex wrench of the proper size would do.

buy a set of the torque bits they come in sets of 4 or 5
