I have 5 wires going to mt IAT sensor. i need to know which 2 wires lead to the MAF/IAT SENSOR.its a 2004 chevy tahoe z71 4x4 with a 5.3 liter v-8. im putting a computer chip on so need the color of the wires please. thank you. jeff.

Well im not sure why you are asking this question . They are two differant systems the mas air flow and the idle air intake bolth run off a 5 volt referance voltage but are not related so to speak to each other as far as the same ref voltage the same ground as every thing else .The IAT MAP TP ECT and fuel pressure sensor are one side and the MAF EGR and the EVAP are on the other side but all on a common ground . Ex plain what you are trying to do and why you are trying to do it and mabey i can make your life a little easyer and what caused this problem

ok thanks. I am trying to install a performance chip that is supposed to attach to the MAF sensor using to have the five wires attached to the Of the MAF sensor

The performance Chip has to wires and is supposed to Connected two out of the five wires coming off of the MAF. I don't know which of the two wires to connect with.

Google--always use that & read what is in print, for decades

In or on the intake plastic ducting between the air
filter box & the throttle body on ALL (98%) of vehicles
you can find the MAF,follow the wires

I would guess 90% have the IAT also inside & part of the maf

Brown wire goes to red wire on g force chip black wire goes to 1 st black wire.

Which wire does what on the IAT/MAS trying to find which ones go to IAT on a 2004 yukon 5.3

black/white goes to ground
black is ref DC from the PCM for the IAT
Tan is the IAT signal to the PCM
Pink is 12 volt power to the MAF sensor
Yellow is the MAF signal to the PCM

My maf sensor pigtail was cut and stolen. I purchased a new pigtail from ford and I need to know the color codes so I can intall a new one. my vehicle is a 2004 ford f-150 lariat with a 5.4 liter engine....

As long as you are talking about the new body style ( 3V 5.4 L )

The module is the MAFS and the IAT sensors

The IAT section is :
PCM to IAT is Gray wire
The return to the electronic engine controls from the IAt is Gray w/ REd stripe wire

The MAFS
PCM to MAFS ( MAF ) is Light Blue w/ Red stripe wire
The MAF return on the PCM is Tan w/ Light Blue stripe wire
The ground ( same as the Charge motion control valve ) is Black w/ White stripe wire.

Pink Black and white.black is power white is ground sometimes it has a green stripe and black is reference voltage.

IAT sensor plug 2004 Ford F150...is it located seperately or is it integrated in the MAF plug? I see a separate set of two wires but I don't know? It's the standard 5.4 L V8 on my supercrew Lariat.

The MAFS and IAT are in a single connector on the 04-08 MY F-150s.
This is for a new body style 2004, not the Heritage / Lightning models.

The IAT sensor is the Gray w/ Red stripe & Gray wire pairs in the connector. The connector is a 6 pin ( 1 row of 6 pins ) black connector.

Yes. That is exactly it. The Air Intake Temp Sensor is built into the Mass Air Flow Sensor on the Air Filter Box. Below is a picture...

I personally have not connected one of these Chips to a Tahoe...What I can provide you with, is the Connector Diagram so you know exactly what Wires you need to Splice in to. See below...
