Where is the oil filter located on a 1996 chevy blazer 4x4

Not only does this YouTube video show the location of the oil filter on a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer, but it also claims that an entire oil change can easily be done by an average individual with a few common tools.

The oil filter is place underneath a flap on an easily-serviceable part of the car.

If you have a 4x4 200 Blazer, the oil filter is located in the middle of the splash guard beneath the front bumper. There is a little hinged door that opens with a screw driver. Make sure you tighten the new oil filter correctly and check for leaks!

You could try changeing the fuel filter its located under the drivers door mounted to the frame in the fuel line . But the most likely thing that it could be is the fuel pump. You could check fuse # 9 its a 20 AMP in the fuse box that feeds the relay located in the glove box but on this vehicle even if the relay wore bad the vehicle would still start it would just crank for a longer time . the fuel pump has a beck up power supply also feed from fuse #9 that runs through the oil pressure sending unit. So if its not the fuse its the pump or a bad connection at the pump and that is located inside the fuel tank witch needs to be droped to replace the fuel pumpGood luck with it but this is a common issue with blazers

lines may be clooged. I would disconnect the fuel line and cranck the engine and make sure fuel is reaching to the engine.

how many kilomiters on it will play a big part in what's rong, but it sound's like the tranny may be packing it in is the tranny oil smell bernt? is there enough oil in the tranny?

Try looking under the front of the vehicle, and there should be a trap door in the plastic underneath that provides oil filter access. It's like that on my 95 chevy blazer which is essentially the same vehicle...4.3L motor V6. Hope this helps.
