I have a 2004 Saturn ION 3 QC, my husband has replaced the struts and cv joints with new seals and now there is a transmission fluid leak on the drivers side- did the seal not seat correctly?

That is a very strong possibility, however I think that your husband would have made certan that the seal was seated propperly. So all you can do is change the seal again. Make sure you inspect the cv shaft where the seal rides for any vissable damage sharp cut marks, dents or scrapes. Also lubricate the in side of the seal with some grease upon installation. Take care when slidding the cv shaft into place so no damage can occure to the seal. Good Luck, From Ernie @ RedDeer, Alberta, Canada.

I need to check the fluid level on the standard transmisson of a 2008 saturn astra

No you can check the level at the fill plug (fluid should be just below the fill plug opening) on the side of the tranny, it is automatic transmission that are sealed not manual ones.

There is a clicking noise whenever I turn my steering wheel and I was wondering what it was and if I can fix it myself. It's a 2004 Saturn Ion?

My guess is bad cv joints and since ur asking I'm guessing it might be a challenge for u to fix. Check out YouTube.com for 2004 Saturn cv joint replacement.

What caus upon acceleratione my 2004 saturn ion occasionally slip out of gear at a stop then it will jump back in gear upon acceleration

Check your transmission fluid level. It may not be possible for the average owner to do this, as Saturn transmissions are made to he used for 100,000 miles, then serviced for another 100,000.
So they don't have a dipstick .
If you have had any leaks under it, it most likely is low .

2005 KIA SEDONA OUTPUT SHAFT SEAL

Hi Phil, On the Spyder end of the shaft that fits into the gearbox there is a retaining clip. Did you knock it in securely? If you did then a seal may have become damaged when making the replacement. That will need replacement. Regards John

My 2004 Saturn Ion is making a grinding noise when I turn left, only left and only the first left turn of the day. I just had bearings replace, front brakes replaced and rotors replaced. This grindi

CV joint on the left side is going out. It will grind once or twice "sometimes" when first starting to drive. Best to have both CV joints replaced. Roughly 400.00 to 450.00 parts and labor. Don't take it to a dealer. Dealer shop rates run 90.00 an hour. It will instantly become a 700.00 to 800.00 dollar job. A good reputable mechanic can order replacements and have it done in a day!

Have a 2004 Saturn Ion, here and feel clumping sound when mainly turning to the left. and also when driving straight down the road and it is a little bumpy you could here it too

Could be a few different things. One is the CV joints are going bad and may be in need of replacement.
Usually there is a clicking sound assosiated with this. If so you will want to replace the whole axil and not just the joint. you can usually look at the CV boot to see if it is torn or leaking.
The other thing could be your left tire may have thrown its weight and caused it to become un-balanced .

Car drives fine untill you reach 55 and then vibrates underneath about dead center of car

Does steering wheel shake? How about when you brake?
Do you feel it in the floor,or the steering? Are you haveing to add transmission fluid? Check axle shart runout? Cv joints? In board Bushings in The transmission Housing do the inboard seals leak any? Is the transmission wet with fluid and dripping on floor?at the center of the car?
