Windshield wipers and washer

First my windshield washer fluid was not being pumped out. The fluid is topped up. And the fluid pumping noise is absent.
Now my wiper blades stopped moving.
Is there one piece that could be responsible for this problem? How much would such a repair cost? I think I need my wipers working soon.

On my 1995 Honda Odyssey, the rear windshield washer just dribbles fluid onto the window, and it takes about 10 seconds of pumping before the dribble appears on the glass, then another 10-15 seconds of continuous pumping, without the wiper running), for enough fluid to dribble onto the wiper blade so that when I turn on the wiper, it wets the window as it wipes. The nozzle is hidden somewhere under the black rubber/plastic edging around the glass. The fluid just dribbles out from under this edging. Is the nozzle supposed to be visible somewhere at the top of the window? I'm afraid that all the fluid that's not pumping onto the rear window might somehow flowing down through the edging, and collecting in the bottom of compartment that the rear seat folds into, because it gets wet down there periodically.

2006 Malibu maxx front or back washer pumps will not work. pulled both pumps out and made sure both work. I have pulled all fuses, relays out replace them all. Both pumps work off Separate switches.

Replacing parts just to replace them wont fix a bad wire or part. Better to use a voltmeter and ohn meter to check if your getting power to the wires. You may have a bad connection or bad switch on the column for the pumps. Without checking the circuits it will behard to tell what it is thats wrong. Find a wiring diagram and trace the wires and components.

In my 2007 Saturn Vue there is what I think is an air pump which is cracked that one port is not connected to anything.

There is a electric motor that pumps washer fluid . Located in the bottom of the washer fluid tank .
Wash Operation (Front and Rear Wipers)
The front and rear washer systems use the same windshield washer fluid pump. When either the front or rear wiper is in the washer position voltage will be supplied to one side of the windshield washer fluid pump (depending on whether it is front or rear), while the other side of the pump is grounded.
At this point, the windshield washer fluid pump sprays solvent onto the windshield. When the front or rear washer is activated, the BCM receives an input from the switch that is activated. The BCM will control the wipers while in the WASH mode. The BCM will control either the front wiper relay or the rear wiper relay to turn on the wipers. The windshield wipers operate at low speed for 3 swipes and returns to the park position.

When turning on the washers do you hear the motor run ? Have some one try it while you listen at the washer fluid tank ! These pump motors do go bad .
turn OFF the ignition.
Disconnect the harness electrical connector of the windshield washer fluid pump.
Connect a test lamp from the windshield washer pump control circuit to a good ground .
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Press the front washer switch.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES or NO !

My windshield wiper fluid works on back window but not front, any suggestions why?

I would see of the front pump is good. You will have separate pumps for the front and rear. Could be the switch, wires, or pump itself. Each will need to be tested to determine the problem. Easiest place to start would be with a test light at the pump. If you get power to the connector at the pump when the button is operated then it is a good sign the pump is the issue.

My windshield wiper motor works, but washer does not work/

I would start by checking fuses. If you've checked already, then the windshield washer pump has probably gone bad. The wiper motor and washer pump should be separate units. Typically the washer pump is located in the base of the washer fluid reservoir.

My windshield washer motor in my 2003 Hyundai Sonata does not make any noise nor dispense any windshield washer fluid when I turn it on, but the wipers do engage

Is your wiper fluid level good?Look for leaks at pump,it's connected to container, also check your hoses leaving pump to windshield, could be loose or binding.

No windshield washer fluid pumping

1) Fluid resevoir is empty
2) Fluid is frozen
3) Washer fluid hose is disconnected, blocked or kinked
4) Washer switch is faulty
5) Washer pump motor is defective
6) Washer pump fuse is blown

The windshield washer fluid isnt coming out for

Yes there are two pumps located in the wiper fluid reservoir. If your in a bind, you can switch the plugs and small hose that go to them because they are both the same. The upper pump operates the back, and the lower pump operates the front. The back won't work until it gets replaced, but it beats driving backwards.

Windshield washer pump is not working

not likely that fuse blew but check fuse box for wiper fuse and see if blown, when u fill fluid, turn ignition on but not running hit squirter and listen for pump noise if noise is present then hit repeatedly and look if there is any leakage dripping and trace leak, if no noise check resivor for debrie floating (posisible blockage) last thing is check for power at pump with wire probs

Windshield washer does not pump fluid

The pump works off the same circuit as the wipers, so it would be same fuse. Most likely the pump is no bad.
