There is a black cap on the bottom of the windshield wiper where it pivots. Take a flat screwdriver and pop the cap off. there is a small nut. Tighten it up. Snap the cap back on. ( Make sure your wiper is in the correct position before you tighten the nut.

Perfect solution....I just know if I had gone to a shop it would've been the wiper motor for a lot of bucks.... Thanks, Susan :)

Possible wiper linkage has broken/seperated from wiper motor. The wiper cowling covering the linkage assembly will need to be removed to inspect/repair

My 2008 chevy hhr only has one front wiper working. The arm is connected, and the driver's side works fine on all settings. The passenger side doesn't move. Whats wrong?

There is a link bar under the cowl (plastics under wipers) the bar has plastic sockets on each end that connects the left side(where the motor connects) to the right, so...when the left wiper moves it transfers the motion to the right

Wiper blades move real slow in the 1st & 2nd position

wiper blade on driver should be 22 inches and the passenger side wiper blade should be shorter make your wiper blades is what factory call for if too long they will move slow hang up.

1998 Porsche Boxster windshiled wiper stopped working

Could be loose wiper arm. Are the blades heavy. Too big of wiper blade will cause problems

The driver side wiper will not work - tries to move but doesn't

you could have one of two problems.one it could be the wiper arm linkage has come apart or two the wiper arm splines that connect to the wiper drive that it fastens to is damaged.

Only the driver side wiper works the passanger side does not move

It sounds like the connecting arm that connects to both the driver and passenger wiper has disengaged on the passenger side. Pop the hood and look under the trim by the firewall and you may be able to see the wiper assembly. If not, then you'll need to remove the trim to get to it
