Hi, It sounds like you have alot of problems which may only be a couple. Have the coolant thermistor checked, it sounds like this is not switching off and causing the engine to over fuel, making it run rough and blow black smoke out the exhaust. Have the engine thermostat checked it maybe faulty causing the engine to over heat., have these done and see how you cars goes then.
if engine is running without missfire check catyletic converter for plugging also very rich running will cause exhaust to glow but will cause alot of black smoke from tail pipe I dont reccomend driving vehicle till exhaust or rich running is fixed can lead to engine failure
when you say it won't start again until the next day? does that mean after turning your truck off it won't start immediately? After a couple of hours of sitting have you tried it again. Are you sure your truck is running fine? is there a sulfur smell or extra warm coming form the floor? It could be your catalytic converter which is clogged, when the truck is cold.. you are getting enough exhaust escaping allowing the truck to run, but it will be very restrictive and I highly doubt that you are getting good acceleration, once this is hot is so restricted that it will not allow the truck to restart. This can be a serious condition and if parked over dry grass or trash could actually start a fire. Take you vehicle to a respectable exhaust specialist.
It doesn't have to run hot to be blown. Sounds like you have oil getting into one of the pistons when you make that turn. After a couple of times, it ruins your plugs and that's why you're getting a mis-fire. It sounds to me like the engine itself is blown. The pistons along with the plugs are firing (burning the oil that gets into the cylinder walls. It's time to look into a rebuild.
what color is your smoke, black or white?
