I have had the same problem with my 2003 Pilot single player. Over the life of the car, it has eaten 2 CDs and they are still in the player. CDs still play fine. How can I get them out? One is a library CD, and they want me to pay them for it. I'm not sure they believe that the car ate my CD.

The cd player did not eat your cd. The dash ate it. Tonight I was driving home from work (in the dark) and I switched to the last disc in 24 disc book from the library. I inserted the cd and it was not sucked in by the player. Keeping my eyes on the road, I gave it a slight tape and heard a clunk. I actually inserted the CD above the player. Too bad they didn't seal the crack at the factory. Now I need to pull the radio out of the dash so I can get the CD. Any advice?

Have you ever figured out how to get the cd's out. I have at least 2 in my 2003 Pilot that have disappeared yet the cd player will play other cd's. As the other post says, one of mine happens to be a library disc so now I need to get it out. It's crazy! People think I'm nuts when I tell them about it.

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 w/ a single disc CD player...which has not been working for several months. There is a cd in the player but nothing happens when I press the eject button nor the CD button; won't...

Possible that the cd disc has jammed due to a change in the disc- warming can bend some cd's, also if the cd is struck inside as the loading mechanism is struck. In both cases the set must be pulled out if there is no hope with trying to retrieve the cd softly assisting while ejecting. If you do not hear any noise while the eject is pressed then the loading drive is faulty , you need to remove the cd , open to check, If this is mechanical then you can softly push the cd out, if not the electonic section needs a check.

Honda Pilot. put cd in the cd player the word disc flashes a few times and ejects the cd. anyone know if there could be an easy fix or what the problem could be?

Something worth trying, if you haven't already, insert a different cd into the player. Sometimes, for various resons, the cd player can't read the digital code on the cd, so, it sends it back out.
There could also be a problem with the reader in the cd player. Usually it's just dust particals and can be resolved with a cd designed to clean the cd player.

I hope this helps you.

CD's will not EJECT. 2004 Isuzu Rodeo makes the CLICKING sound when you hold the button, but the cd is stuck. CD player does recognize that there is a cd in the player just will not eject.

Had the same problem. Remove face plate by unscrewing a screw found when you remove the ashtray. Faceplate should pop off and then take out 4 screws holding in player. After removing the player I shook it around a little, plugged it back in and it worked (after purchasing another, luckily I could return the new one!) Give it a try before replacing.

The player will not eject the cd but it will not play it either.

I know it sound crazy, but turn the system on, press eject while using a PLASTIC knife to lift the CD in the player. If the system is stock also try disconnecting the radio fuse for about 10 minutes or so with the car off. Reconnect it to see if the radio resets. You'll know the power completely went out because you'll have to reset your stations. By Resetting, hopefully the issue will solve itself. In a few of the system issues I've seen, when the motor won't open the faceplate, or the CD player won't give the CD back. I usually remove the faceplate or disconnect the negative side of the battery for about ten minutes. Try this if the fuse removal doesn't work. Good look. Let me know how it goes. there are other things to try.
