Hello

Personally I stay away from anything that requires me to rip out the dash but many people dont mind this job at all. It generally takes a small rachet set and some pliers, and time. If you are the patient sort of person then you will do fine. If you are the ram jam mover kind of guy like me, you are better off changing tires. :)

Autozone will have the repair book for this truck. It should be less than 20 dollars and has nice pics and instructions to help you along the way. Many guys can do this job in a few hours, but I would plan a whole weekend.

Hope this helps

If your car has a sunroof, one if the sunroof drains runs down through windshield post down through to bottom of the car. If it gets plugged it will back up into car. If it's coolant you're finding (sticky and smelling like coolant) your heater core is leaking

I have water leaking into both drivers and passengers footwells in my Suzuki Grand Vitara. Heater matrix seems fine and the washer bottle pipes seem fine. Have checked seals on door panel. Again, fine....

Does it have to do with the AC. I had a similar problem with my vitara and they said a washer was prob loose in the ac system which would cause the water to leak to the footwell. Mine was only the passenger side.

HEATER MATRIX

you will need to take part of the bottom of the dash away but you wont have to take it out completely.
not done this for a while but as I recall you can slide it out the side near the passenger footwell.
like I say it was a while ago when I done it so not fresh in my head.

look where the fan is see what access you have around it.

good luck
