Windscreen wipers work when fan comes on

power steering fan is probably seized, may have burnt a few wires together.. there is a tsb for p/s fan circuit, to have its own fuse.. i would isolate that circuit first i think its a green wire in a 12pin connector under the air box near fuse block.

Where is the fuse box for mini cooper 2001

where is the fuse for the remote central locking in a mini one (2001) as I have changed the battery in the key fob and still not working. Can it be reset?. it has 2 button and not 3 on the key fob. Could the problem be a fuse that stops the actuator in the door from working?

Same issue mini cooper 2002. main front wipers

Sounds like it's the earth wire issue. Try this: 1) Remove Driver Side Cowl(?) grill (top). 2) Connect a wire to buttom screw of wiper housing 3) Drill a hole on plastic wall to snake wire through (make sure wire is not loose for it might tagle while wipers are on) 4) Losen top left struts screw and insert other end of wire then tighten 5) Wala! Wipers work again!

My front windscreen wipers on my BMW mini are not

You actually have a wiper relay this should assist you swap with another see if functions
Service and Repair
The wipers are controlled by two relays, located in the engine compartment fuse box.
These are wired in such a way that one relay will run the wiper when energized, and stall it when de-energized (Front Wiper-Run/Park Relay).
The other will select either fast or slow speed on the wiper motor (Front Wiper-Fast/ Slow Relay).

My front and rear windscreen

Generally when two or more electrical features die at the same time a common element, such as a shared fuse, is at fault. Bear in mind that the fuse is there to protect, so when it goes something on the circuit is bad and the fuse will just keep blowing out until the bad component is fixed or removed from the circuit. So find the fuse, get some proper replacements, then install a new fuse making sure that all features on the fuse's circuit are turned off. Turn them on one at a time, when the fuse blows again you now know where your problem lies. You can replace that feature or just make a mental note to not use it anymore. Of course when you let someone else drive your car it will always come back with that fuse burnt out, a guy named Murphy wrote that law.
