Fuel pump started making noise. Replace it 3 times,noise returns after a short time

3 seconds is a brutally short time to have the engine run. That's almost the same time that it takes to crank it over to try to start it. Is there any chance that it is actually stopping firing when the key is allowed to return to "run" from the "start" position?
If you have fuel, and you have spark, it will run. It sounds like you have fuel available, so unless the injectors are not triggering (bad sensor or wiring) something is killing your spark. Try checking each component separately and you should find which one is giving you grief.

Try pushing the automatic fuel shut off button located on the left side of the steering wheel or in the glove compartment If that doesnt work then you should make sure the fuel pump is pumping fuel by listening for it to power on when you turn your ignition key

replace fuel filter.listen for fuel pump operation with ignition switch on position for 3 seconds should hear fuel pump running should have humming or churling noise if so fuel pump working if hear no noise fuel pump faulty or could have blowed fuel pump fuse or bad relay.if fuel system okay problem could be ignition timing off due to worn broken timing belt.could have faulty ignition module.bad crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor best to have vechicle code scan first before buying alot of new parts.could have bad ECM. many things will cause no start problems i.dont know model type vechicle.could have bad spark plugs wires. distributor cap and rotor could be bad.ignition coil could be bad.

For how long after does it make noise it's not uncommon for the pump to stay running 3-7 seconds after shut down however if it getting noisy you may need to change your fuel filter restrictions in the system will make it noisier

WELL I WAS GOING TO SAY REPLACE FUEL FILTER, CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS BY ADDING A CAN SEAFOAM TO 3/4 TO FULL TANK OF GAS.REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES. DO A LITTLE TUNE UP SEE IF HELP COLD START CONDITIONS. IF CAR STILL TAKES A LONG TIME TO CRANK. FUEL PUMP FAILING THE CHECK VALVE IN FUEL PUMP IS ALLOWING ALL FUEL LEAK BACK IN THE FUEL TANK.

A fuel pump is the most likey problem, when you key-on a vehicle the fuel pupm turns on for 2-3 seconds to prime the system, it sounds as if your is not functioning properly. You can check fuel pressure at the schrader valve after pinching the return fuel line. You should have at least 35 psi, if not replace the fuel pump. Good Luck!

fuel pump getting weak -change fuel filter first may be getting restricted making pump work harder but99% pump is just getting old-may fail soon

the anti theft does not shut the fuel off, it disables the starter motor, so the problem u have is a failing fuel pump, this most often happens on trucks lke yours at around 100,000 miles.

find the buzzing noise...likely its the fuel pump relay.
