Hi if you want to join two batteries to make 12v place the batteries side to side and. Connect the negative from one battery to the plus of the other. Then connect the batteries in the vehicle as normal plus to plus minus to minus. If the vehicle is 6v then connect plus to plus and minus to minus this will give you 6volts and double the amps. Hope this helps. Regards Jim...
Have you removed any of the injectors recently? The reason I ask is because I replaced one of the injectors on my Lesabre and the o-ring didn't seat properly. Then upon restart I had the infamous 3 second run/ VATS problem. Anyway, if you haven't messed with the injectors try using another key. If that is not an option then you need to measure the resistance of the little pellet that's in the key. Once you have that value, then you'll need to go to Radio Shack and pick up one of their assortment packs of resistors and create that same number plus or minus 10%. then you'll need to find the small white wire that goes to the BCM and insert those resistors in line.
5 1/3 =16/3 because 5 x 3 + 1 = 16 then keep your denominator of 3
2 2/3 = 8/3 because 2 x 3 + 2 = 8 then keep your denominator of 3
1 1/3 = 4/3 because 1 x 3 + 1 = 4 then keep you denominator of 3
therefore
16/3 + 8/3 + 4/3 = 28/3 = 9 1/3
On the 3.5 liter v-6, they are in two spots that have plugs. The first three are in the front of the engine. The second three in the back. They are under what is called the"ignition coil cassette". Right in front of the cover that says 3.5 liter is a piece that is about 4-5 inces wide with another piece on top of it about 2-3 inces wide. On the right of this piece you will find some wires plugging into it. The 3.5 liter does not have actual spark plug wires. The wires goto this cassette and this cassette lays on top of the spark plugs. There are seven screws to this cassette, four on top and three on bottom. Once you figure out the front, you will find the back set. However the back are a terror to get to. I had to replace all of the back plugs by feel
I'd set it as close as dead on as possible,, a plus or minus of 3 degrees, off of whats the suggested timing, is just that,,,, OFF,, 3 degrees can make the motor fire late, or early, which in turn makes the computer make up the difference, each and every stroke, thats only 35k times a minute,, get what I'm saying,
Go to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan. If done within 20 to 25 startups whatever happened will be recorded and in memory.
When you replace parts remember to disconnect the NEG cable of the battery for 10 minutes to clear the old problem. The codes will show you what area is messing up.
There is a procedure in the owners manual on page 110.
BeltMinder activation and deactivation procedure 1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT START THE ENGINE.) 2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1–2 minutes.) • Steps 3–5 must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated. 3. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during BeltMinder warning activation. 4. Turn on the parklamps/headlamps, turn off the parklamps/headlamps. 5. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled • After step 5 the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three seconds. 6. Within seven seconds of the safety belt warning light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt. • This will disable BeltMinder if it is currently enabled, or enable BeltMinder if it is currently disabled. 7. Confirmation of disabling BeltMinder is provided by the safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds. 8. Confirmation of enabling BeltMinder is provided by: • The safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds. • Followed by three seconds with the safety belt warning light off. • Once again, the safety belt warning light will flash four times per second for three seconds. 9. After receiving confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is complete.
