I had to take my whole breather assembly out to reach it. Once out it will be on top of your transaxle but its still a little tough to get to because of the hoses on top of it. It took about 2 hours to replace.

SOURCE: speed sensor problem

for the engine reving thats your fast idle control valve. which is location between your intake and firewall to the left of the "programmed fuel injection" stamp/emblem/sticker thing. it should have a dark tanish top on it with two phillips head screws on opposite sides of each other. when you take the top off you should see a white-sh(depending on how dirty it is, but it should be white) wax ring in there. using a flat head screw driver, screw the wax ring in 'til its tight. then just put the cover back on and that should solve the revving problem. if it doesn't stop then you probably need a new fast idle control valve. if you're still confused go to www.prelude3g.com and click on the "common problems" tab on the top center/right part of the page, then click on the "bouncy idle" link and it should explain a bunch of other issues that may contribute to the revving problem and has pictures of where the fast idle control valve is. the site also a bunch of other stuff that has helped me with my lude. as for the other stuff you're having problems with, the guy above me said the same thing i would have. anyway, i hope this all helps! :)

SOURCE: where is the selinoid located (cyllinoid?) in a

The solenoid is on or in the starter depending on if the car has a mitsuba or a nippondeso starter. The mitsuba has to be replaced, the nippo can be repaired with a new set of contacts and a plunger. They are both located on the passenger side and can be found by following the positive cable to the starter.

SOURCE: where is the transmission dipstick on a 1990

I only know about the dipstick for the automatic transmission.
It is located to the passenger side of center and is burried dwon very deep - you almost have to reach full-arms-length down, between hoses and air duct to reach it. It has a wire loop handle usually covered in orange/yellow rubber. All total it is about 6 inches long when removed. It is so hard to find that I thought mine was missing and bought another one before I found it.

1994 honda prelude vtec speedometer tach problem

Possible speed sensor. I know the speed sensors are a problem with hondas. A new speed sensor is about $200 and can be easily replaced. It bolts to the top of the transmission on the firewall side. Do NOT buy an e-bay one. They are only about $30 but are junk

Look at the rear top of the gearbox/clutch bellhousing, below and behind the distributor. Well hidden, two bolts to fix, with a plug on the top.

Honda prelude 1990

This prelude model on my experience the cause of in emission either map sensor near the throttle body and the small hose is connected. Next the coolant sensor below the distributor w/ two wires and the fuel pressure is cause by bad fuel pressure regulator at the end of fuel rail or the fuel return line closed. I hope this will give help to you.
