The pump is in the gas tank. On some early 90s models you could access the pump thru an access plate without dropping the tank. Otherwise you have to drop the tank and take the pump out thru the top. If you do replace it, make sure you replace the filter too.
Have you checked the fuel pressure? If it is high and fuel is not returning, the regulator is bad. If it is low and fuel is not returning, the pump is bad.
If the a/c is charged good and the controls is working right I would say the air conditioner pump is bad. I would recheck every thing if it looks good and you will need to change the pump and recharge th a/c .
The fuel pump resides inside the gas tank. You need to drop the tank and upen up the top to remove the pump. The car will need to be elevated in order to have enough room to remove the tank. Be careful as any spark created will be bad!
