You need a repair shop or spend some quality time on it yourself,and straighten out thoses issues.
I would be too embarrased ,to go on the internet,to say i bought that vehicle,not knowing it was in that condition
for Land Rover Discovery 1999-2004 no more external Fuel Filter serviceable anymore...it's a built-in part with the fuel pump. so if you want to change the filter then change the whole fuel PUMP.
There is no exturnal fuel filter on a v8.It is situated inside the fuel pump housing inside the tank , it clips under the pump intake.There is a replacement part from Land Rover and it looks like a plastic gauze sock.
