Power steering i have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ model with 129,000 miles when driving the steering is normal , but when you turn it becomes stiff and harder to make turns . I checked the power steering fluid and it registers full when hot, but it smells burnt. The fluid is clear in color not burnt looking.

Sounds like your pressure needs to be checked for your power steering pump or maybe if that is ok the spool valve seals inside your rack are worn and letting fluid past under pressure.

I have a 2002 Chevy TrailBlazer LTZ model. When I drive over ridges (picture small ripples like in a lake), from the front driver's and passenger's seats, you can hear knocking noises under the front...

What you have here are bad swaybar end links (very common, been there gone through that headache). You have 4 of these, two in the front, and 2 in the back. Problem with the stock end links is they are not greasable. Replace them with a brand like Moog, which are greasable and will last longer. If you are mechanically inclined, replace them yourself, much cheaper to do it yourself of course. Heck, if you're near Sacramento, CA I'll do them for you, for cheap! Let me know if you need help with instructions on how to do it.

Why is there tension on my steering wheel when i try an turn my 2002 zx2 for escort

If it became stiff over time, the most reasonable thing to assume is a problem with the Power Steering System: Check the fluid level, if that's fine then the power steering pump may be failing. Before you waste your money on a garage repair, try flushing your old power steering fluid by removing the bottom hose to drain the fluid or use a pressure evacuator to remove it, then put the hose back on and refill it with your engine running in order to turn the pump and run the fliud through. If all else fails, replace the pump.
If your steering become stiff for just a moment while your driving, your pump can be failing just like above. Have it inspected before your replace it.

I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, Might be a trans problem....

Have it scanned and see if there isn't a trans code. If it is spinning out between gears that is called slippage. There is not much you can do since there are no adjustments. The only thing that it could be other than the trans itself is a problem with the TPS, Throttle Position Sensor, and if that is defective and you don't repair it right away you can do serious damage to the trans. (almost 30 years rebuilding trans and 4 of them directly for GM. I know the 4l60e extremely well) Do not drive this if it is slipping. Hope this helps.
