Check for air leaks after the maf also check power supplys to the mass airflow.the exaust gas recirculation system should also be checked out this has a close link with measured mass airflow.

SOURCE: car stalls code for mafsensor oil pressure at 120

They very well could, these sensors tell send information to the computer and the computer may ajust timing, mixture, etc to try and correct the problem that the sensor is sending, this could then cause stalls.

SOURCE: CODE PO102 after Mass Air Flow Sensor replaced

Most faultcodes don't disappear automaticly, the have to be 'reset' manually after repairing. It sounds like the code didn't get erased after replacing the MAF. You could try to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes (disconnect and reconnect the negative (-) pole), which should erase the code.

Whenever the engine light still comes back on after that, there probably still is some (other) problem ...

SOURCE: 1998 vw 2.0 starts runs but surges advance

Throttle position sensor TPS is not behaving. Codes p1543 and p1565 indicate the throttle position is too low... as if disconnected. The other codes are as a result of the EECU noting the disparity between the throttle input signal and the expected input from the engine speed and distributor/cam sensor. Check that the connector and wiring to the TPS. If these are OK then it is the TPS that needs to be changed.

Show me location of code po102

This is the Mass Air Flow Sensor. It's a screen-like device located on the air intake line to the throttle body. It measures the flow rate and density of air entering the engine. The code can mean a few possible things:

1. Dirty Air filter
2. Dirty MAF Sensor
3. MAF Sensor wiring problems

Try replacing the air filter first. Remember that engine codes must be reset or they will remain in the computer even after repairs. If that doesn't work you can remove the MAF and clean it with a MAF Sensor approved spray cleaner. If you use the wrong cleaner you will destroy the MAF. If cleaning the MAF don't work, then replacement is indicated.

99 Audi A4 quarto, keep having to replace same coil pack and code p0102 but changed the MAF. My last guess is the wiring has gone bad, but I don't know how to fix it or even where to start.

code p0102 refers to mass air flow (MAF) sensor/volume (VAF) sensor-low input===causes --wiring short to ground---MAF/VAF sensor--- ECM Replace the sensors and check for a wire shorting across to the earth pin. Code po102 has no reference to coil packs but check that the wiring to the coil has not been damaged when removing for replacement.

Had a po102 code on a 2002 3800 engine chevy check voltage at 12 volts.cleaned sensor. reset code now it says po102 pd with no engine, but engine stalls when driving

HI, The DTC set PO102 is for your MAF (mass air flow) sensor. this sensors measures the air moving past it my heating a fine wire much like one inside a light bulb. Even cleaning these will not get the contaminates off. That little wire gets very hot and if dirt gets on it it will bake to it then this throws off its readings for your computer. If you checked and you have your 5 volt reference for this sensor the only other thing is to replace it. You can get re-manufactured one now at any major parts store. Good luck
