Its maybe your spark plug wires. when they get old, they cn cause this problem. in the meantime, put your car in neutral when breaking and give it a little gas at the same time.

Accent vibrates on start

I had a rough idling motor and the dealer replaced a coil in the ignition. The "check engine" light was on. Ran only on fewer cylinders.

My 2001 Hyundai Accent 1.5 L, stalls out at stop signs and red lights. No codes are present, and check engine light does not come on, any ideas? Fuel pump?

See if your idle air control valve needs to be cleaned out. This is a common problem in cars that stall out a lot.

Hyundai accent stops running after heats up

I had the exact smae problem and threw aaway a ton of money on bad "guesses" at what was wrong. The actual fix was replacing the crank shaft position sensor for 50 or 60 bucks. Swapped out bad for good and cars has run great every day since.

P0441 EVAP Emission Control System Purge Flow Fault 2001 Accent

It is always best to start simple on a lot of these things. This code indicates that somewhere in the evaporative system you have a leak that has set off the code. The gas cap is the most common culprit and that is where I would start. Buy a new gas cap and put it on. It may and should solve your problem. A lot of gas caps have rubber seals that do wear out over time. If this does not solve your problem simply use a search engine and type in p0441 a wealth of information will pop up. There are other possible causes and solutions but that's where I would start (with the gas cap)
