Idler control valve or Vaqium leack
Where is the heater control valve located on a 99 expedition 4.6 2 wheel dr.
I'd be looking at the IAC (idle air control) valve, or motor as it's referred to as well. It's located normally on the side of the throttle body, and it's job is to maintain a steady idle under various load conditions such as AC turned on, heater, turning and braking etc. It's about a $50 part and 15 minutes-1/2 hr to change.
