Hi there,

The main fuse link is usually inline with the + battery cable (red). Usually situated somewhere on the cable itself.

The Odyssey will also have a MAIN FUSE 120A, in the Engine Fuse compartment (inspect the fuse window, to see if it's blown).
If this fuse has blown, then something very SERIOUS has caused it to blow (hmmm...has anyone attempted to jump start the battery...and earthed it by mistake?)

Also, there will be a smaller 15A Fuse, situated in the Driver's under dash fusebox (remove this fuse and inspect to ensure it hasn't blown).

Replace any blown fuses, ensure the battery is fully charged and try again.

Cheers,

Scott

Where does the fusible link on + side of battery go on 1997 Honda 200D connect to.

It is usually a main fuse it is is part of the battery clamp. The other possibility is that someone added something and protected it with a fuse.

Why is there a fuse on my positive battery terminal?
Cube fuses at the battery provide protection for the electrical circuits connected to your battery (as well as the battery itself) by eliminating unprotected sections of cable between the battery and the first fuse.

Looking for the fuse that works with alternator.

no standard fuse in a fuse panel some vehicles have a master fuse/link that attaches inline if looking to pull fuse follow battery positive to where it links up with alternator some are by battery some by radiator but if its a fusible link not going to be able to pull it ---and as to a regular fuse their is none and some vehicles dont have any short in alternator usually means no out put if short in wiring than would have a constant drain on battery --their is no fuse that would stop that if short in wiring test the lines and replace the wires their is usually about 10 ft of wiring --if alternator pull connector from it

Changed battery will not start

Could be the new battery .
Check the battery like this:
Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.
If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely ok.
Check that the battery cable plus post, goes to the starter, Minus post to a good ground, like the engine.
If wiring is ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection.
Problem is most likely the Solenoid or starting relay, whichever the car uses.
Hope this helps.

Put a950 craking amp battery in 81 ford f100 inline 6.battery shorted no power to key at all.could this be bad voltage regulator?

No----More Than Likely Bad Fuse Link--Could Be Also Not Installed Correctly. FYI--Fuse Links Are Soft Wire, That Will Blow Just Like A Fuse. On Your Vehicle They Are All On The Battery Side Of Starter Relay. ie: All On Same Side As Positive Battery Cable. There Should Be No Small Wires On Starter Side Of Relay. The One You Are Looking For Goes To A Yellow Wire--You May Have To Open Harness A Little To Find. Try Stretching Link With Your Fingers--You Will Find Very Soft Area, Or It Will Break. DO NOT Replace A Fuse Link With A Inline Fuse Or Regular Wire.
A GOOD Parts House Will Have Fuse Links In Blister Pack--Be Sure They Give You One With The Right Amperage. They Should Be CAREFULLY Soldered In.

My battery light is on. its a brand new battery. why is my battery like coming on?

Have you checked your fuses ? There is a 10 amp fuse in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehcile in the engine compartment. Below is a fuse layout diagrm for that fuse panel. I have marked the fuse you want to check if you haven't already (# 26). If the fuse is good make sure you are getting power at the main big wire attched to the alternator. You should have the same amout of power at that connector at the alternator as you do in the battery itself. That is a direct wire going to the battery but it does have a fuse link in that wire so if no battery power there you will need to locate that fuse link and replace it. Sorry I don't have a picture of the location of the fuse link. Hope it's just a simple fuse or fuse link and I hope I was able to help....

No electrical current from battery where are fusible links

I realize this is a very old post, but I just encountered the same problem....no juice at all to ignition from battery......the problem was the 3 weird looking fuses attached to the positive battery cable. I replaced all 3 for about $12.00 and she fired right up. Some models have a fuse box/panel....mine does not, and these 3 fuses are critical for getting current to the ignition.
I'm sure by now you have it figured out, but for anyone in the future, this may help.
