How do i reset the factor alarm ???

I have a 94 chrysler lhs that i just put a motor in and im not getting any spark theres no power to the coil packs i was told it could possibly be the alarm?? how do i reset the factor alarm

thanks for the reply but the main reason im trying to reset the factory alarm is because im not getting any power to the coil packs period and i was told that it could have something to do with the alarm being engaged or disengaged??? any ideas??

Did you find a solution on resetting the factory alarm? I need to find out how to "unlock" the anti-theft alarm system to my 1991 Chrysler New Yorker

Depending on the type of alarm and how it locks out, you might be able to reset it by locking all the doors and disconnecting the negitive battery post and letting it sit for 15 minits, then reconnect the battery and unlock the door.

All i know is that unplugging your battery and letting it sit resets your OBD computer which im assuming would reset your factory alarm. Although if your car uses a mechanical lockout for the ignition, reseting the alarm probably wouldnt do anything.

Check fuse G a 40 amp fuse for starter relay to make sure it is good . The integrated power module on these can be temperamental .

I have a 2000 chrysler lhs and i need a diagram of the ignition coil pack as in a firing order

For just a few dollars you can get the "Haynes Automotive" manual for the L.H.S. that will have what you need, plus so much more. It is written for the average person and has all the wiring diagrams and even walks you through the engine rebuild. If you love your L.H.S. like I do mine, then it is worth the tiny, tiny investment. I would dig mine out for you but this is a better solution. You can get it online, or at ANY decent Auto Parts store. If you REALLY want me to dig mine out, hit me back and I will.

Why wont my 1995 chrysler lhs coil pack get a spark?

Its probably a bad crank position sensor or cam angle sensor.

Less likely, it could be a broken timing belt, bad ASD relay, or bad ECU(PCM).

Have you checked the spark plug its self. You can try to see if it sparks to ground. To do this try to touch it to the engine block while cranking the engine. If nothing get a multimeter reading from where the pack plugs into the spark plug. If theres power there then I would recommend changing the spark plug. I hope this helps please rate this thank you

you have to remove the planium air intake and remove the ignition coil and plug are under it fairly a big job if our not use to it you have to remove lots of part be carefull please rate this a fixya our post was answer good luck pierre

it's either a spark or fuel fault , if there is spark after it shuts down it is a fuel fault. connect a pressure gauge in the fuel line, start the engine , note fuel pressure around 35 psi , stop engine , pressure should drop a little then hold, if not check pump return valve and pressure regulator , check fuel flow , if low replace fuel filter,
