SOURCE: location of ignition control module

It does not have an ignition control module.
The electronic ignition (EI) for the 4.0L engine consists of the following components:
Crankshaft position sensor (CKP sensor) and 36 minus 1 tooth trigger wheel.
Ignition coil .
powertrain control module (PCM) .
Related wiring.
The PCM controls the firing of the coil based on the signal from the crankshaft position sensor.
The crankshaft position sensor (CKP sensor) is a variable reluctance-type sensor, triggered by a 36 minus 1 tooth trigger wheel configuration machined into the rear of the crankshaft vibration damper. The signal generated by this CKP sensor is called a CKP signal. The CKP signal provides the base timing and rpm information to the powertrain control module (PCM). Base timing is set at 10 degrees BTDC and is not adjustable.
If vehicle has no spark then turn key to on position, check engine light should come on.As you start cranking engine it should go out while cranking after about 10 secs. it should come back on(while cranking). If it come on then the PCM sees the signal,if it does not then PCM is not seeing it and this is your problem, either the CKP sensor or the wiring to it.

SOURCE: where is the ignition module control located on 1996 ranger 2.3 e

It does not have an ignition control module. The PCM (powertrain control module) fires the coil pack based on signal it recieves from the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor.

Where are the locations of the crash sensors on a 2008 Ford Ranger?

It is typically the job of the airbag module to sense when the vehicle is decelerating beyond the normal rate, and to deploy the airbags.
If the module has suffered excessive corrosion, then this would typically mean that there is water ingress into the interior compartment. Have you also checked the condition of the wiring connectors and looms?

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger w/ a code 19 flashing on the dash, The bags were blown , have replaced them and the air bag computer still have a code 19 Any ideas?

you will have to replace the Restraint Control Module to clear the error. Until then the airbag should not deploy in a crash. It should be located under the radio.

The part will run in the neighborhood of $100

Abdiver:where the heck is the passenger side airbag switch and light located on my 1995 ford ranger

My 1994 F-150 doesn't have a passenger side airbag, and if the 1995 Ranger does have passenger airbags, it would not have a way to disable the passenger airbag until later models (after a bunch of kids got hurt by the airbags deploying). If I recall correctly that wasn't added until somewhere between 1999 and 2001.
