Been asked to rewire S10, Need wiring diagram for ignition, lights, wipers, horn, mostly just the basic stuff. Will be starting with no harness in vehicle. Did a 56 Chevy P/U truck and the guy saw what I did. Anything would help.

    ya it doesnt have one it has a mechanical fuel pump on side of engine

The firing order for a Chevy s10 depends on which engine you have.
1.9L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates counterclockwise.
2.0L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
2.5L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
2.8L engine the firing order is: 1-2-3-4-5-6 . Distributor rotates clockwise.
4.3L engine the firing order is: 1-6-5-4-3-2 . Distributor rotates clockwise.

Try checking all your lighting grounds, there could be a short somewhere. I had the same problem. Turns out that one of my rear ground wires was deterriated. Let me know if this helps you
