SOURCE: Transmission fluids

If you have the 4 speed 4L30-E..........9.2 quarts (automatic)

And, if you have a manual:

Manual Transmission, W/ BW 5-SPD..........4.4 pints
Manual Transmission, W/O BW 5-SPD..........6.3 pints

Type of fluid is dextron or mercon III, you have to pump it in from the bottom.

Please don't forget to rate!!!!

SOURCE: where is the drain plug located on a Volvo 2000

There no tranny drain plug, you must drop the pan to change the fluid and filter. Standard fluid is fne. I believe Dextron3 but double check with the autoparts store (tell them you have a volvo) and they can lookup the correct type of ATF.

SOURCE: what kind transmission fluid for 2001 suzuki

This does depend to a degree on area of use (ie cold or hot) and is always specified in the Owner's Operation Manual in the glove box. Having said that, if it's an auto, then DEXRON-IIE or DEXRON-III is recommended, or in a manual, API GL-4, 75W-90 manual transaxle oil is recommended in my market - Australia.

What type of automatic transmission fluid does i take?

Any kind of transmission fluid will suffice. There is no weight differential such as in motor oil. If the bottle on the shelf says transmission fluid, it will work.

Where do I add transmission fluid for my 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitari?

You'll have two dip sticks under your hood on the engine. One will be for oil the other for tansmission fluid. You can tell you have the transmission because the fluid is a bright redish color where as the oil should be clearish or black, Denpending on your last oil change. The dip sticks are usually on opisit sides or the engine from eachother but could be on the same side. To check your transmission fluid then you need the emergency brake on and the car in neutral and the motor running. On the dip stick there is notches or tiny lines telling you how much is in it. Here;s a very important point to remember. Transmissipon fluid is checked and measured by pints unlike the oil dip stick which is in quarts. So the marks on the dip stick for the tranny will be one pint per mark. To add transmission fluid they sell a skinny long tube funnel that goes directly into the stem that holds the dip stick. You must shut the engine off to add the fluid and restart it in neutral to recheck it. I hope I have been of some service to you and please be kind with your thumbs up for me. good Luck, Raz

If you are talking about the brake fluid reservoir, you need to use brake fluid. Not oil.
