The control module or actuator is most likely the cause. You can manually set it for cold air until winter. Actuator is under the dash right by the blower.

In addition to faulty actuator motors, the blend door itself can also be broken. This happened on my Tahoe. Typically it is a very labor intensive and costly fix to replace a broken blend door, as the dash must be removed and the plenum assembly replaced. There is a DIY kit from heatertreater.net that provides steel hardware as well as instructions on how to perform the repair by removing the glove box rather than the entire dash.
This is also an alternative to replacing the 'difficult to access' top actuator motor underneath the dash. The kit contains a single blend door which converts the dual control to single control, and is operated off of the bottom actuator motor, which can be accessed by removing the glovebox. If you are having issues with your blend door, or the 'top blend door actuator motor behind the dash' it is worth looking into.

When air conditioner is turned on the drivers side blows cold air and passengers side blows hot air, rear dual air blows cold air in to back passengers area.

If your sure you're looking at the right motor, Then the door is broke. Dash and plenum have to come out to fix it. Not a cheap fix.

Air conditioning system, when you turn on the air conditioner the drivers side blows cold air and the passengers side blows hot air? What causes this problem?

The most common cause of this is that you have a stuck air temperature control blend door, this can be a motor actuator issue or a jammed door or both (common). To replace both parts you will need to completely remove the dash from the car to access the blend door.

Automobile air conditioning on max cool, blows hot air on passenger side tried dual climate control settings still cold on driver hot on passenger

I had the same problem when i was working on my 1999 Buick Regal and had to disconnect the battery. I didn't reconnect in the same way that I disconnected the battery from the terminal and noticed that the driver side had no heat or air but the passenger side did. I then disconnected the battery again and reconnected it the same way and now have heat and air on both the driver and passenger side. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Heater on blowing cold on driver side and hot on passenger side

This sounds like an air damper is not operating, maybe a cable sticking or a vacuum line come off.
