did you check the plug wires are in the correct position ,and with the distributor if they are misplaced it 'll sound like erratic timing harbor tools have worked for me.
first thing you need to do is. plug a scanner to it. read the codes
when light is flashing means there is a sevear missfire and needs to be fix asap. or you will damage the catalitic converter.
bad coils, internal engine problems (coolant leaking inside pistons) maybe one of this is your problem
this is the sensor problem which is palced in the fuel tank which senses how much fule is present inside it.
the connection to the sensor may be lose so it is not giving proper reading and erratic.
If I'm guessing right, your turn signal is flashing rapidly when you have it on. if this is true, then one of your turn signal bulbs is bad and needs to be replaced.
