Here is how to remove ignition lock:

   Rotate ignition lock cylinder to RUN position. Using a 1/8-inch drift, depress lock cylinder retaining pin through access hole and remove lock cylinder.

Carefully NOTE: the position of the bearing retainer prior to removal.

   Remove blue plastic bearing retainer by inserting a screwdriver or similar tool, with a 90 degree bend on the tip, between bearing retainer and bearing and by prying upward.

   Insert tip of a screwdriver into Double-D slot of bearing, then rotate 90 degrees. Remove bearing.

   Remove lock drive gear. Carefully note relationship of lock drive gear to position of rack teeth.

Here is the installation:
   Position lock drive gear in base of lock cylinder housing in the same position as that noted during removal procedure. The position of lock drive gear is correct if last tooth on drive gear is meshed with last tooth on rack.

   Position bearing retainer in lock cylinder housing. Insert tip of a screwdriver into Double-D slot of bearing, then rotate 90 degrees.

   Press blue plastic bearing retainer into lock cylinder housing. Ensure retainer is in its original position.

   Line up flats of drive gear with flats of washer by pulling down on the column lock actuator.

   Install lock cylinder assembly.

   Check for proper start in PARK and NEUTRAL. Also, check to ensure start circuit cannot be actuated in DRIVE or REVERSE positions and the column is locked in LOCK position.

Question edited for typo. Question moved to sub category. My first thought was "are you oiling the gasket on the oil filter when you install it"? The rubber gasket needs to turn and seat. Most common cause of stalling for Lincolns in that era is the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). It regulates fuel mixture, idle speed etc. A bad TPS will usually act up in one of two ways:

1. When cold, car continually stalls
2. When warm, car stalls when slowing down (especially if AC is on)

As far as valve cover oil leak, it's a problem that should be addressed to keep oil from fouling your spark plugs but highly unlikely to be the cause of your stalling problem. Hope this answers your question. All the best.

Well it could be the plug but most likly not as you are facing the engine on teh left side by the fire wall there will be a few coolant hoses check all of them for leaks

first thing to check is transmission oil level and quality. If that is fine than your looking at either a valve body problem (valve body is what controls the selection of gears) or possibly a problem with the bands on the planetary gear set, they can be tightened in certain models. However i dont think it is the bands. Does the overdrive only engage 4th gear? or does it feel like the gear ratios are different between overdrive and normal before the problem happened? some overdrive buttons engage final gear and some do as much as change gear ratios like in a cvt (contantly variable transmission) and some just change the timing in the gear changes to provide more rpm/power. My best guess is that the valve controlling the overdrive in the valve body has failed and therefor you dont get a response from the transmission (i.e no gear shifting when overdrive is selected)

You buy the rear for the rear and the right or left side and the front for let or right side

Well it is cheaper to replace the window and regulator they will be sold to gather. If it has not been replaced just pull door panel off unplug motor un bolt to screws that hold window in reg. un screw regulator, Some might have rivets grind them off and use not and bolts to replace them plug new motor in to make sure it is not the switch before you take it all apart

Great news, you can program a 1994 Lincoln Town Car keyless entry remote yourself! Here are the steps: NOTICE: You must have all remotes on hand when performing this procedure. Any remotes not used during this procedure will become inactive. 1. Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. (Run is forward, just shy of starting car.) 2. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located behind the glove box. (The connector will have two pins inside of it, and it will not be plugged into anything. Jumping the pins means to make a connection between the metal inside the plug. You can do this by using any metal, a metal paperclip bent in the shape of a "U" usually works perfect.) All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. 3. Press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. 4. If programming a second keyless remote, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. 5. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode. Have you check the transmission fluid?

clean the area , than run the engine to see exactly where is the leek, i dont think anything is missing if its leeking from the sensor, change it

of you cut off switch in the trunk the compressor will not run and there will be no air in the lines there is not system just lines

Have the crank position sensor checked. This sounds very familiar.

If it runs then the fuel pump is unlikely to be the problem, the replay is located under the hood in the power distribution box.

• Place ignition switch at RUN and multi-function switch at OFF.
• Check for battery voltage between Pin 1, Circuit 65 (DG) and Pin 4, Circuit 57 (BK) at the windshield wiper motor connector.

Is B+ present? Yes No GO to E3 . SERVICE open circuits. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system. E3 CHECK MOTOR CIRCUIT CONTINUITY THROUGH WINDSHIELD WIPER CONTROL MODULE

• With multi-function switch at OFF, check continuity between Circuit 28 (BK/PK) and 56 (DB/O) and between Circuits 61 (Y/R) and 63 (R).

Is continuity OK? Yes No GO to E5 . GO to E4 . E4 CHECK CIRCUITS TO WIPER CONTROL MODULE

• Disconnect wiper control module connector.
