This is the delay feature of your vehicle.
Your car's Auto Headlight functionality offers both convenience and safety. The exit delay programmed in means that the lights will stay on after you turn off the engine for a set period of time. You can change how long they stay on to fit your needs. Here's how to do that:

After replacing turn signal fuse under dashboard @ steering column, get a buzzing sound from under the dashboard. It goes off when the right or left turn signal is engaged in the on position. How do we get rid of this buzz sound?

I have an 03 corolla and in 04 we had this same problem. It was really bad when the temps would dip very low(appeaered to be cold sensitive). I would jump-start the car and let it warm up and the problem would go away. The dealership replaced the module that worked with the sensor(the sensor for the auto headlights) and since then we have not had this problem. Also from my understanding there was a manufacturers release on this, but not a recall. Hope this helps.

lol i'll tell you what to do about the 93 lesabre headlight problem, carry a wrench and disconnect the battery. not optimal but it's what i had to do. don't...kick the headlight button multiple times as i tried to do, it doesn't fix anything. although, as soon as i got used to disconnecting the battery cable, the problem suddenly stopped.
