I have a 92 jeep Cherokee limited and been having problems with the headlights flashing on and off for a few months and now they wont come on at all. Replaced light switch and fuses under dash and under hood already.

Your problem is in te combination switch (the light switch that turns the lights on). Replace it and it should be happy again.

In my experience, if there's ever been a part that I didn't know the location of... I just went to an auto part store and one of the employees always knew what and where it was. They'll even help replace it if they have time.

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.
