How to disarm security system, 1994 jeep grand cherokee
Your is easy, but there are 2 types they used in this year,do you have factory alarm or aftermarket, If its factory you will need a toothpick,if its aftermarket you will need to cancel the relay.let me know what you have. If you have one of the factory alarm the activation and deactivation is the door lock and unlock,it only disables the starter, go to the starter relay take it apart, when this relay collapse it engages the starter, with a key or without a key, stick the tooth pick in there so the relay is always closed.Go to the vehicle start it up.You defeated the alarm,With this type you need to becareful you have two different types I only gave you the easy one, if this is a manual transmission and you collapse the starter relay and the key is on away the car goes without you,so care need to be taken dont just do this without some with you put someone in the car stepping on the brake wheel block e brake on you not standing in the front and vehicle not in gear.becareful
1994 jeep grand cherokee wont start
The clicking sound is an indication that the battery is almost dead, and will not activate the starter any more.
When is the last time the vehicle was tuned up and serviced? How many miles do you have on it? You can't drive it forever and expect that it's going to always start and run properly. You need to have it checked out by a qualified mechanic - the symptoms you have sketched out here could be almost anything.
Do yourself a favor and invest a few dollars to get some reliability back in your vehicle, or maybe find out that it's going to cost a lot of money to keep it going. Then you can make an informed decision on what to do next.

Unfortunatly, a scan tool will be required to monitor o2 sensor voltages while the engine is running in closed loop. This code you are displaying is NOT an easy solution to trace down. I expect you had an exhaust leak and is why the cats were replaced? Anyway, if so, the PCM can reset the light after a few GOOD trip readings occur that will satisfy the PCM's no fault signal, otherwise the JEEP dealer is going to be your only solution and a pressure test should be performed.

1994 jeep 42re transmission shifting problem
I'm having a problem with my tranny not wanting to shift automatically at all. Seems like a dead stop its stuck in low gear. Have to manually shift and does not go into overdrive. I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Can anyone help me cause I've swiched out throttle control sensor, filter change, new tranny cooler and heavy duty lines. I'm at a loss and scratching my head. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
We just put new gaskets on our 94 jeep grand
first place I'd look is around the perimeter of the heads (I assume you mean head gaskets?) Make sure you haven't inadvertently gotten a wire pinched in between the head & block somewhere.
How do i reset my pcm on my jeep grand cherokee?
try disconnecting the NEGATIVE cable on the battery for 10-20 minutes. re-connect it. start the vehicle and drive it for a few miles to let the pcm reset. (make sure the key is off and out, just to make sure you don't fry something when you remove the negative-black wire cable!!). don't short it against the positive-red!
make sure the negative connector (on the cable) is isolated from the frame, or it will still be grounded! wrap some plastic around it, or something!
good luck!
