SOURCE: location of oil filter on a 2008 hyundai elantra

It is located under the alternator. If you are looking down at the engine, it is to the far left. If you are under the car it is to the far right before the oil pan.

SOURCE: oil control valve

on the lower front of the cyl head right where the thermostat is a 14 mm bolt remove that bolt and there will be a screen filter for the ocv if clogged it will reduce oil pressure to the ocv and give you a p0010 or p0011 code clean screen replace clear code all should be good

How To Install Replace PCV valve 2002 Hyundai Elantra 2.0L

Disconnect the hose from the valve and the nipple where it attaches to the engine. Clean any debris away from the valve. Use a deep-well socket to back the old valve out. Reverse process to install.

Where is the pcv valve located on a 2003 hyundai sonata

I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 , I'm having a problem locating the pcv valve. I was told it was on the valve cover near the fire wall. Is it located near the throttle body? i have to take off the intake to change the plugs so I'm sure I will find it then. Just thought I would ask someone that has pervious experience. Thanks for anyone's input.

Whats a difference between timing belt and drive belt , for my 2004 Elantra Hyundai cernter is asking to change the drive belt and flush the Hyd oil, car has 53,000 miles on it

a drive belt refers to belt driven items like alternator, power steering, water pumps and the like.

A timing belt is cogged to precicely hold the relationship between the crankshaft and the valve train. Timing belts are usually located within covers, as the loss or damage to this belt exposes engine damage and failure.

Could be several things..
If it is turning slow on starting - it could be a week battery..
If it turning good and fast on starting it could need a tune up..
Pugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, air filter, oxygen sensors...

Have a great day !
