SOURCE: 2001 hyundai elantra have starting probleams

hi from uk may i suggest you recheck battery terminal leads are clean/secure? then check the negative lead from battery where it connects at the other end to the engine usually at point where engine and transmission connet? ensure this connection is also clean/secure ? also you may try this? turn engine manually by crankshaftpully half a turn if it starts ok ? without click ? you may have a bad spot of teeth at some point on ring gear on flywheel? and now and again engine stops at the point thatstarter locks on bad teeth and does not rotate hence the click ? by turning engine half turn will clear teth from starter pinion ?you may even hear/feel starter pinion free itself ?

Check connection to starter. Might need to replace starter. I'd start by checking connection's and make sure tight.

2005 Altima won't start, hear clicking sound coming from fuse box,key stuck in ingintion, won;t turn over, tried to jump start.

the clicking that you hear is coming from the starter relay. sounds like your ignition starter switch or ignition lock cylinder is bad.

My 2005 caravan won't start. When I turn the key I hear a clicking sound but it doesn't start. It worked fine earliar today. The battery is fine for now.

Possible causes are: 1. Loose or corroded battery cables. 2. Bad starter 3. Dead battery. Try tapping on the starter with a hammer while someone is holding the key in the start position. If it starts then replace the starter. Thanks

My car will not turn over, the lights will not turn on, but the battery is 100%, I just had it tested. What would be my next step in problem solving?

Battery cables off the battery and starter ,starter relay and ignition switch. these are the items in the starting system for no crank and no start.
Get Shop manual and do the appropriate testing for each.
