Wiring diagram for a 1997 Dodge Dakota with a v-6 engine. I need to place the wires from the plugs to the distributor. Please, Help?

Here is a color diagram of the distributor plug for a 1997 Nissan Sentra GA16DE:
Pin 1: Black/White wire - Ignition pulse signal Pin 2: Green/Red wire - Ignition coil power Pin 3: Black/Yellow wire - Ground Pin 4: Blue/Yellow wire - Engine speed sensor signal Pin 5: Yellow wire - Power supply Pin 6: Green/White wire - Ignition coil signal Pin 7: Red wire - Power supply

This was all I could come with, hope it helps.

I was surprised to find Dodge still using a distributor on this engine.
The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and the cylinders on the driver side are 1-3-5-7.

Here is a firing order diagram and note the distributor cap latch positions between terminals 1 and 2 and 5 and 4, and let me know if you need any help to understand this diagram or if you require any further assistance.

Firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Distributor rotates clockwise.  2-4-6-8 front of vehicle 1-3-5-7 rear

Plugs need to be changed every 30K, and wires, cap, rotor every 60K. Could be a weak coil not putting out enough spark, could be the pickup in the distributor, could be timing is off from stretched timing chain, could be weak compression. Check the basics first.
