I had a case tractor with a 4 cylinder diesel, dual heads, in-line cylinders. It had a similar symptom. Turned out to be a cracked head. Only one of the two. Water pump had previously failed, this led to overheating and cracking of the head.

2002 s10 zr2 runs rough bogs down when you

First check for any cracked pipes leading into the intake manifold If all OK (with no codes showing it probably is OK) try checking the fuel pressure regulator. If you smell fuel from the pressure regulator vacuum side arm (when the vacuum line has been disconnected) it needs to be replaced.

The car bogs down when the accelerator is depressed, why am I losing acceleration?

Has trouble accelerating sounds like its missing and is bogging

Sounds like a timing problem to me. I would look at this first. It could be fuel related too. The old carburated engines would act like this when the accelerater pump on the carb would go bad.

Good Luck

Supercharged 3.8

Could be a plugged catalytic converter or a plugged fuel filter, run an exhaust back pressure test, any muffler shop will do this, most times for free, the other thing to do is have the fuel pressure tested under a load, also clean the MAF sensor, a little dirt on the sensor wire wrecks havoc, You didn't leave anything in the intake runners did you? have seen seasoned technicians do this more than once.
