1995 Voyager 3.0/6 cyl. Recently replaced fuel pump. New pump sounded bad but worked. Now I am losing power and it jerks a bit going uphill.I suspect the pump is defective but not sure.

Sounds like you are losing fuel pressure. At low rpms it will not show up. Could be a bad fuel pump. Since you have spent so much money I highly suggest replacing fuel pump. Also check for any fuel leaks. I truly believe their is a leak in vaccuum A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful 1995-chevy-k1500-when-use-les-half-ynnexffib1tqqlzbw4nudlh0-2-0.jpg

2000 ford econoline jerks

It does it more uphill because the engine needs more fuel. Its starving. How about replacing the fuel filter.

Runs rough and stalls

I would further suspect fuel delivery issues primarily the pump. This is an intank mounted pump and they are a very fast moving parts across counters everywhere. This means they go out alot. The only thing she can do as a driver is to listen to that pump run. In a quiet place like a closed garage, turning key on -engine off (no cranking) will run that pump for 3 seconds. I've noticed they generally work about as good as they sound.A new, good pump sounds very quiet and smooth sounding as a failing pump sounds a bit squeelish, loud and labored. These however are somewhat suttle sounds you are listening for taking in consideration your listening to a pump motor inside a fuel tank submerged in gas.Next step is installing fuel pressure gauge and running diagnostic for verification.

04 f150 jerking going uphill

Ignition timing would be #1 on the list. Also check your plug wires, or change them. Check your air filter, and change the fuel filter. It could also be your egr system, faulty ignition coil, or a vacuum leak at the intake manifold.

Engine shut down

Sounds like the fuel pump is the most likely suspect. The fule filter could also play a role in preventing the fuel under pressure from reaching the engine going uphill. If you haven't changed the fuel filter recently, change it either way, then you can rule it out if the problem persists.
