SOURCE: code needed for Pioneer radio serial number PNB0125214

Take your radio out (Using an Allen wrench) there are 2 little doors on either side of your radio. Back out the recessed allen head screws till it stops and withdraw the radio out. Disconnect the radio wiring(no need to worry they only fit one way) take the radio to the dealer with your Reg. or title and ask the service advisor for the code. (they might try to charge you for the code. But just complain and say" that you have had many bmw and you've been comming to the dealer for parts for years now and it that how you treat me"!) that should get you the code (If you are a woman then wear something tight & Skimpy) same effect. put the radio back in and input the code...

You should be good to go.

SOURCE: Need location of fuel pump on a 1992 BMW 525i straight six engine

The fuel pump is located under the back seat on the passenger side. You will find an access cover and will need to remove the screws. You should be able to listen for the pump while someone cranks the car. Also I believe there is a large green w/ blue trace wire and an equally large brown wire at the connector. Check for battery voltage across the two wires. The fuse for the pump should be in the fuse panel under the hood.

SOURCE: 1993 bmw 525i fuel pump

Hi, your fuel pump is located in the trunk underneath an access cover on the passenger side. remove the screws on the cover and you will see the in tank pump and sending unit. when replacing your pump, make sure to note the position of the 2 fuel hoses so you don't accidentally cross them when putting in the new pump.

Fuel system wiring diagram

which engine? 2.5 or 4L ,,, always engine first...... ill post for 4liter.
the first test on all EFI, (varies rules) but here it is.
many cars only have power to the pump cranking and running (ONLY)
(crash and burn rules... dig it?)
so use the meter this time and crank.
fuses first check.

btw, alldata.com has that, login and look, like us.
see schem linked here. its real simple and is online. (goggle)

this EFI pump in 1993, is 100% controlled by the ECU. at all times
Fuse 1, blown kills pump dead.
software (firm) in the ECU controls this.
http://www.fixkick.com/look/odds-ends/jeep/93wrangler-EFI-4L.jpg

if cranking , pump is dead, check coil for 12v, on fuel pump relay
if not 12v across coil, cranking the ECU is bad.
or ECU detects spark loss, again, crash and burn logic in the ECU.

the ecu monitors spark at all times. if bad it cuts fuel
even if spark is GOOD. ! and spark feed back is bad.
that is pin 44 on ECU is dead......... for any reasons.....

1987 BMW K75 motorcycle, - engine suddenly died while doing 70 Km/h. When trying restart startengin don't work. Everyting else seems normal.

Check that the plug didn't fall out of the ECU its located under the seat.
The plug clips on. This same thing happened to me. On the side of the road I figured it out. I just got the bike & the previous owner just replaced the battery. You have to remove the computer aka ECU to change it, The computer controls the spark & fuel injection. There's also a part called the Hall sensor for the ignition, that could have one bad.

Fuel pump 1993 bmw 525i

Hello vchinto,

The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank for your car. The easy way to get to it is from the top.

First remove the backseat or atleast the bottom portion.
Once you have the seat out of the way you will see two metal doors. Underneath the right door is the fuel pump.

I'm sure you could probably drop the fuel tank to get to it as well but this would be much much harder.

If you feel I answered your question please give me a fixya rating.

Thanks,
