It means that the solenoid circuit that controls the valve internal to the injector has an open, or incomplete circuit. This means the injector cannot fire, thus no gasoline will get into the #4 cylinder. Usually, this problem is in the injector itself and is fixed by replacing the injector. It is possible, however, for the problem to be in the wiring to the injector from the ECM. In order to avoid buying an injector only to find that the wiring is bad, you can swap the suspect injector with one from another cylinder. If the fault changes to the other cylinder, change the injector. If the fault stays with the #4 injector, check the wiring.

I have a problem with a fiat strada, it shows injector light, on dashboard, one injector which is number 4 is not functional, what do I do

I would determine why your #4 injector isn't functioning. Most national parts stores have the ability of flow testing injectors. I would pull all of them and have them flow tested and cleaned. If #4 tests good then I would check the wiring. Make sure the injector is getting the signal to open.

I have a 99 caviler that has a cylinder 4 misfire and a injector circuit open codes. I replaced number 4 injector and cleared the codes the codes are back and its still not running right

"circuit open" means that the entire circuit, from the computer to the injector isn't making good connection. You will need to trace the wire all the way and find the break in the wire.

How to fix a code P0304

The P0304 code means that the cylinder 4 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks an if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 4. If the problem persist more tests needs to be done to diagnose problem, see "Possible Causes"

- Faulty spark plug 4
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector 4
- Faulty ignition coil 4
- Fuel injector 4 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 4 circuit poor electrical connection
- Ignition coil 4 harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coil 4 circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinder 4 compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Intake air leak
most likely change your spark plugs these should be done every 60,000 km

Po204

Well code 204 means the computer has detected a high or low resistance in the circuit for injector number 4. The problem could be in the wiring harness or the injector itself.
The resistance of the injector would be checked first.
